Gap Analysis
Gap Analysis is similar to Business Process Analysis, in that it involves identifying and documenting inter-departmental and intra-departmental workflows and interactions, but is focused on uncovering the problems (or "gaps") in those workflows and interactions.
The recommendations for improvement which are a result of a Gap Analysis come in many forms:
